Looking Back at How God Called Table 71 into Existence

Jesus prayed that we may be one as He and His Father are one (Jn. 17:22). In response to Jesus’ prayer as well as sensing the need to work together in the harvest, likeminded churches and mission organizations have formed a Global Alliance for Church Multiplication in September 2011. The Alliance seeks to help start at least five million multiplying churches and biblical faith communities by the year 2020. It is a bold expression of faith and prayer to see at least one multiplying church started for every neighborhood and village resulting in ZERO neighborhoods or villages without a church.

In this Alliance, we are beginning to experience amazing unity of heart and contagious spirit of collaboration.

It is a growing movement that creates a global platform for learning from, inspiring, and sharpening one another toward intentional bilateral and multilateral partnerships promoting good stewardship, lasting fruitfulness, and multiplying disciples and churches.

Through intentional partnerships and the sharing of resources, we are helping one another to double or triple our ministry goals, to go to places where we can not go by ourselves, and improve ministry results such as sustainability, mentoring of leaders, and multiplication of churches. For example, in December 2011, the Global Church Movements of Campus Crusade for Christ and (TTI) drew a bilateral partnership agreement, selected six priority countries in Africa, shared leadership and finances, ensured ownership of local leadership, and launched a church planting movements in those six priority countries. This experience especially one organization giving money to another organization was outside the norm of each organization, but it had to be done for the sake of God’s kingdom. As a result of our partnership, a total of 1,092 churches were planted in 18 months!

Moreover, as Alliance members, we recognize that God”s kingdom is bigger than any one organization; collaboration is strength; and God is glorified through our unity.

Because of such intentional collaboration in the Body of Christ, we believe that the vision of ZERO neighborhoods or villages without a church is possible. We have all the necessary tools, processes, products, technology, and leadership. But above all, we have the power and authority of our Lord Jesus Christ and the presence of the Holy Spirit with us always.
